A number on a screen
is a starting point.

The interesting part is knowing where it came from, what it means, and whether anything actually changed.

The installation

The documented installation uses two Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000 units, a Cerbo GX, SmartSolar equipment and Seplos-managed battery storage. It brings solar, storage and household loads into one substantial engineering project.

Battery capacity and physical commissioning claims need installation evidence. This page deliberately avoids turning an approximate historical capacity into a current usable-energy specification.

Hardware descriptions here are based on engineering records reviewed on 18 October 2026. This website is a static explanation, not a live energy dashboard.

Measurement

Main grid, ESS feeder, EV charging and immersion loads have distinct meter boundaries. Similar readings do not make them interchangeable.

Software

ESS Core collects telemetry; supporting interfaces, history and policy components give it context. Documented executor work separates intent, execution and observed outcome.

Verification

A service running, an acknowledged command and a physical effect are three different observations. Each deserves its own evidence.

Lessons worth keeping

Stale data should look stale. A forecast should look like a forecast. Historical readings must not quietly impersonate present measurements.

The work includes documented forecast and EV-charger integrations, measured-current regulation and source qualification. Those are engineering milestones, not blanket claims about autonomy or guaranteed energy savings.
