Beyond the hardware snapshot

Rebuilding the website around engineering stories rather than a configuration that goes stale.

Why rebuild?

The old website captured an earlier version of the lab. Hardware allocations and software moved on, while the page stayed put. The useful replacement is a record of decisions and lessons, with current specifications held separately as dated structured data. That makes a GPU change a small content update rather than a rewrite of every project story.

What stays

The real rack, the purple and orange identity, and the occasional reminder that this is a personal lab. Authentic photographs do more work than an imaginary aisle of immaculate servers ever could.

What changes

Projects get individual pages. Journal entries are Markdown. The production result is static files. The public site has no reason to reach into private management or energy-control services.
